About the author
Dr. Perez is Neuropsychologist who specializes in brain/behavior relationships. She has over 25 years experience working with survivors of severe abuse and other forms of trauma resulting in PTSD and other painful conditions. From individual and couples counseling to leading small groups, she uses her knowledge and experience regarding healing from abuse to equip survivors and their loved ones for the process, along with its inevitable pitfalls and triumphs. Additionally, she is an inspirational conference and retreat speaker who possesses a rare insight into the complex and difficult issues surrounding the spiritual aspects of healing from abuse.
